We do a bit of racing in this area of Sydney Harbour East of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Greenwich Flying Squadron conducts a Down Harbour race about once every four weeks, The courses start at the Clubhouse and go to varying parts of the East Harbour, depending on the forecast winds and return to the Club. We occasionally compete in Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association (RANSA) and Blues Point Yacht Club events that are conducted in this area.

Most of our day cruising is done in this area, with many great spots to drop the anchor or pick up a mooring for a nice lunch. there are also many wonderful places to spend a quiet night.
